This is the first Culdecept title to release outside Japan since the Xbox 360 version came out in 2008.Disgaea 5 Complete, a Switch version of the 2015 PlayStation 4 RPG with all of its downloadable content, will drop in North America on May 23. The European release was announced as 26 May earlier in the day by British trade magazine MCV.In a possibly unexpected move, NISA also announced that RPG Maker FES would be localized for the 3DS this summer. The late 2016 release from frequent partner Kadokawa (original publishers of the Rodea games on Wii U/Wii/3DS) also offers a free application for the eShop that serves as a player for games created and uploaded. Although several RPG Maker games have been localized for Windows, this is the first console title to cross the Pacific since RPG Maker 3 on the PlayStation 2 in 2005.

Culdcept Revolt is getting localized! Yay!

Culdcept Revolt is currently announced as being $60 in Canada! Not so yay!

I'm not going to complain too much, as I may just end up buying it at launch anyway. But this would be some exchange rate fuckery that puts even Nintendo to shame. I guess there's still hope that it just ends up being a placeholder and is lowered to the standard $50 at launch.

I can't tell if they're being earnest or just playing it up. I can't tell if they're really good actors, or if I've just seen too much at this point.

I do legit want to get Disgaea 5 because I missed it on PS4 because of various financial issues and my PS4 losing the ability to read optical media.

Phil:
I've never played a Disgaea game (despite owning two of them), so I would be interested in 5 if I'm hungry for Switch software. Plus, I've heard only positive things about the series.
