Here IAN, this is my post from Revolution Report. I already posted this on this site but you made me do it here again. They Need to be insulted. there is no way around it. The name is rediculous. Nintendo should not have to be told that. But sense we do have to tell them the only way to get throught to them is to insult them. I think they think that they are gods and infallible. Its obvious to me now that everyone at Nintendo are a bunch of Japanese queeers. No way would a striaght american come up with a name like Wii. Im sorry but 20 years of loyalty shall now cease. i will buy( maybe rent one if i can) a Revolution only to Play Metriod Prime 3. When this site becomes  wiiplanet or planetwii, im outta here too. Nintendo is just a big azz joke now. Mark my words, all the love the Rev has been getting from Media and magazines will stop after this announcement. Wait and see.

Blashpemy is when one buys an Intended Exclusive Nintendo game(Killer 7, RE4) for the PS2. These people must die.....

i dont know about the art style. Its a handheld so i would never really judge its art style. Those games(handheld) as a whole tend to be geared to younger folks. Generally not my thing. Never owned a Handheld.

All i really want is a follow up to one of the best games ever on Nintendos Rev, Castlevania 4 from the SNES. Keep both the Art style and the 2d view.

If anything is scandulous it is the absence of Castlevania on the GC and that lame example of a final fantasy game...Crystal cronicles. Otherwise i loved my gamecube.

My problem is that another castlevania is announced and again its on a handheld.  when will  we get a GC or Rev announcement for a castlevania game.  I dont do handhelds so it pisses me off when another CV is announced. So until i get my console CV, i will keep yelling F U K  U Konami.

Wow, a next generation game that is black and white. They sould call it [Oh, hey man. My name is Standard Rules. You're kind going against my ruling here on using offensive slurs. First warning, m'kay? Thanks.].  I think the decision to do it as such is that they are new and lack the experience to make a visually striking game. Which is ok, but dont cover it up by saying its the "style" they chose or that it is "stylish".

Man twice the power of the system that created RE4 and we get a black and white game. Am i the only one disappointed by the news.
Ill reserve judgement till i see it, but right now the news blows....

Please don't pretend you are a Nintendo fan if graphics are going to stop you from getting the Rev.  Or third party support.  You buy Nintendo for gameplay and their first party titles.  

No offense but that is utterly rediculous. I, as well as others, buy nintendo because of best overall quality. Graphics and third party support has historically been a part of Nintendo's huge success. The NES was # 1 because the graphics were a huge leap from Atari. Further, its had every third party on its side. Granted First party titles played a substantial role. But to call someone a nonNintendo fan because he/she like graphics and 3rd partys simply wrong.
Look at the SNES. The graphics were phenominal. I didnt even give Sega a chance because the SNES looked so good. The GC had super graphics. The damn thing produced graphics just as good and at times better than the technically more powerful xbox!

Sony and Xbox followed Nintendos Model. Graphics and third party support. So in fact, the REV will be the FIRST time Nintendo will be on the bottom of the graphics totem pole. NO Nintendo fan is going to be used to that. The controller will alienate or at least limit third party support and ports. NO Nintendo fan is used to that.  The only First Party games that truely matter for Nintendos console are Zelda, Mario and Co and Metroid. If anyone thinks Nintendo could have Survived simply on those three franchises alone needs to put the crack pipe down.

Im loyal to Nintendo because of its OVERALL quality (including reliability), great graphics, and great games, both 1st, 2nd and 3rd party.
If you dont care that Nintendos "Next Gen" console will only produce Xbox quality graphics then your are not a smart consumer. In that case all Nintendo has to do is make the controller as a peripheral to the GC, not a different console. Im confident Nintendo will deliver on graphics though so im not worried. But if they dont blow me away like every last one of Nintendos consoles did then I will be very disappointed. Im sure i wont be the only one.

FINALLY!!!!!

Fresh out the California Bar Exam, what is the first thing i do. Well i put in Killer 7 which was put on a 2 month hold while i studied for that bloody hell of an exam. Anyway aside from finishing the exam my excitement is due to my finally beating the uber whore ashley backburn(on hard).

Thanks to Pro 666 and cubist, i was able to kill her not once but twice in one night. Now i can continue with a game i was stuck on for so long. I expect to finish the game this weekend, and join the ranks of those who beat this trippy but great game.

Another rumor that has me smiling is that there is a first person dungeon crawler, ala those old Ultima/Wizardry games being developed by N Space, to take advantage of the Rev controls, as well.  That could be BS, though it has me intrigued.


Dude are you serious! Wizardry is my absolute RPG series. Anything remotely near Wizardrys quailty is Gonna be Great. Do tell more of the rumors if you have anymore to tell. Nintendo needs to Get the Wizardry franchise and make Wizardry 9.

after all that time in development i expected a more polished product and a higher level of graphics than was delivered. Great game though and i LOVED the soundtrack. Hopefully they make Geist 2 and have the same soundtrack guys, make the beats.

BTW Did Professional 666 ever rip the Geist soundtrack???? Ahem...patiently waiting...... :-)

Fair enough. But why limit those who do have an HDTV? Its kinda the same faggotass excuse/rationale Nintendo gave for not including HDTV output on the REV. Nintendo should include as many features to make the Rev as marketable as it can be. The cost would essentially minimal.
