Since we are getting a nice group of people with Black Ops thought it would be good to have a place to plan times to play or if we are online.

I play now from time to time. Don't go on all that often but drop me a line and I'll join if I'm not too busy. Plus things are settling down in my life so extra play time is fast approaching.

I rarely turn the game on so my appearances can be spotty. If anyone wants a get together though, I'd be willing to drop by.
Not so sure inviting me in-game works since I prefer playing mercenary team deathmatch. Those "clans" getting together irritate me.

Looks like it's another Double XP Weekend right now. I'm about to head on now if anyone wants to team up with me to whack some ugly army men, which would be helpful since the late-night crowd tends to be rough. I'll probably be on over the next couple days too, though I'm not sure when.

As I mentioned in another thread, you may wanna try the objectives or my fav(Bare Bones) where the skill level seems lower in average. Anyone else get the headset?

Hmm anyone try the Nuketown 24/7 match? From what I can tell it's just a match where the Nuketown map is the only one available. It's a stage I quickly get annoyed with so I'll be skipping it unless I'm joining into a match with someone here.

I just got on if anyone wants to play.
Stratos has a headset, I do not. I usually mute people with them because they rarely have anything of worth to say.
I play Mercenary Team when I'm on my own, it doesn't allow parties so it usually offers a more balanced team set. Bare Bones seems like it may be a little too simple, gotta learn how to play the game eventually.
I didn't know they would offer limited time modes on occasion, that's pretty strange. Nuketown can get pretty crazy with how small it is, but I thrive in chaos so it's actually one of my better maps.

Bummer. I was just heading to bed when you posted.
Usually I prefer small & mid-sized maps but it's too easy to respawn in the sights of the enemy in Nuketown. Sometimes you'll respawn near where you died & get killed by the same guy again.

That's happened to me a few times but usually I'm behind the opponent and they don't see me, so I get my payback. It can help to have a Suppressor attachment so you don't appear behind them on their radar when you start firing.

Still on now? Hopefully enough of us will show to have a private match some day.
I don't use suppressors since it lowers the damage the bullets cause. I'm not exactly a world class shot so I need every bullet to do its best.

I wasn't on yet, I was waiting for someone to post. I'm a little tired of going solo for now. I can get on now if you'd like. What game type would you like to play?
The Suppressor reduces range, which weakens shots from a distance. It works best on assault rifles that have good range, otherwise it would be useful only on small maps. I also like to mix it with Warlord and add an extended magazine, too.

Almost midnight here. As good as place as any to call it a night. Plus that last match was lagging really bad around the 2:30 mark.

Yep, same time as here. It was nice to finally meet up with you in the game. Despite some of the issues with connecting we had, I enjoyed it, and I hope you did too. See you on the next one.
