For anyone who can’t watch the video: In Japan, some people believe blood type determines personality (similar to horoscopes). This concept was introduced in the early 20th century and popularized in a book written by Masahiko Nomi, a Japanese journalist. In games, particularly dating simulators, blood type can be useful short-hand information. It just doesn’t translate well literally anywhere outside Japan. I realize this may come off as “Well, actually...” but I thought the video was fascinating when I saw it (outsidexbox is one of my favorite channels). Ridiculous because come on... but fascinating nonetheless.
