Today's price for the stand alone game is $41.99, which is a significant drop over the $59.99 MSRP. The offer applies to all console versions of it. The bundle deal is also available for $69.99, and I'm pissed because I already got it at $99.99 (although, I used my $20 credit from Other M so I only paid $79.99, but still...).

This was my first ever Guitar game purchase ever. I understand that its probably no improvement over the other guitar hero games, but if you are completely new to the experience then its just as good as anything else. Also, the guitar might be ugly (in your opinion) but it works, and its compatible with all the other guitar software, and that's all I care about. I agree I paid too much though... I should have waited. But its done and there's no point crying over it now.

I've found some really excellent deals there with their clearanced items. They might not lower the price of games per se, but there does come a point when they clearance them and that makes it very worthwhile to pay them a visit. I think the best time to check that is right after the holidays.

I shop for clothes at Target so every now and then I browse the game isle. I rarely find anything good there, their clearances are usually licenced, sports, and party games that I have no interest in.

Other than GE, their Wii selection sucks.
And the CCPro that is bundled is ugly, so I'm not feeling a single game in their selection.

They do have the current Guitar Hero/Rock Band games (and both DJ Hero games) if you are interested in the music games. I will admit that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has better selections though, and buying any 2 games on that big list will get you the $30 credit.
