Um, none of that info is unexpected or surprising. Of course it will boost the total to over 700. The lowest ANY gen has added was Generation II with 100 new Pokemon, and no chance in hell of Generation VI adding less than 51. New merchandise based on X and Y? Duh. Global launch, already mentioned. The game using 3DS's power? Shocker, lol. Etc. Nothing really worth noting.
> The game uses an innovative communication system that makes it feel as if you are playing with other players around the world.

> The bonds between players and Pokemon will deepen, And Pokemon will become stronger with the new battle structure.

You're telling me this was expected? I thought this was a very interesting read tbh.

Interesting info that should be added to the article.

Graphics looks a bit jagged but the game will look better on the 3DS screen surely, + they still have 9 months to work on this game. Excite! (I'm ordering my Pikachu 3DSXL right now!)
After re-watching the Pokémon Direct on my 3DS I was surprised by how great the game actually looks on the 3DS screen.

October, you're so far away...

Yes! I've been wanting a NEW Pokémon for quite some time. Black and White and Black and White 2 are pretty different from the others, but to me, Pokémon should have moved on to a new visual style awhile ago. Is that crossing the line, Pokéfans?  :P: :  I'm pretty sure that I'll buy this. Looks pretty fun. I haven't been this excited about Pokémon since 1998.
I was about to say. My hype level has reached new heights with this announcement. Simultaneous worldwide release, badass stag legendary, and no Fire/Fighting starter this time!

Not a baby I'm afraid, she turn 4 in December but she is a very good kid. Top notch if I may say so myself!

General Chat / Re: How do I remove DRM from iTunes videos?

I used a program called Requiem to remove DRM from my iTunes videos, it took seconds to remove DRM from a 2 hour, 720p documentary.

Come back after watching it in 1080p. It doesn't really come through well enough in the youtube video but the quality if the animation is exceptional, full HD recommended!

Anyone else picked this up yet? Not sure if there is many anime fans in the NWR community but if you're "one of us" you should give this anime a chance. After reading lots about this show on so many websites and forums, not related to anime even, I finally gave in and looked it up on youtube.

~ ..... All I have to say...

I haven't watched that much anime this year so I can easily say that this is my 'anime of year' so far. But even if I had spent more time watching anime earlier in the year I'm confident that this would still be on my top 3. Watch it!

Ha ha! I was watching the second Inazuma movie the other day with the audio commentary track on and the director actually had several football elements in mind with the start of the movie, and that shows. But they all agreed that by the end of the movie it was all about the players' Hissatsu Techniques and Avatars. But that is what the series does so well, not taking the sport seriously at all!

Ugh, since I'm keeping up with the Chrono Stone anime, only having the first two Inazuma Eleven games at hand here in Europe is a pain in the ass...

Stand up! Stand up! 立ち上がリーヨ! (or something like that)

Nintendo Gaming / Re: All 6 Inazuma Eleven DS Games In One 3DS Game!

Just an FYI, never use VG Chartz since they pretty much pull their numbers out of their ass and are about as reliable as jut slamming your hand on your number pad.
I've heard lots about that but I've picked up the sales chart for the forums though and it's the community members that is posting the charts for each country, and these people are not moderators or anything like that. While I can't confirm that these charts are 100% correct I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me Inazuma Eleven was very popular in Spain.

Nintendo Gaming / All 6 Inazuma Eleven DS Games In One 3DS Game!

Possible release candidate for Europe? With NoE still not talking about the 3rd set of DS games I think the chance of seeing these games localized for DS is nonexistent.

NoE is also working on Inazuma Eleven Strikers for the Wii at the moment so they probably won't have time to start working on these DS games before the DS is dead. Bear in mind, Inazuma Eleven Strikers takes place after the 3rd set of DS games so something does not feel right here...

With the massive success of Inazuma Eleven in Europe (still dong well in Spain, where I've heard DS piracy is a big problem.) and with this 6 in 1 3DS cartridge with enhanced, widescreen graphics I think it's the perfect opportunity for European fans to almost catch up with Japan. But what about the US?

I went with Wario Land as well. I remember buying it close to launch on GBA and really enjoyed it back then. And since I am one of those fine men that can call themselves an ambassador, I have the game ready to roll on my 3DS.

Stocks rise and fall all the time. If someone starts just a rumor that Nintendo is buying, say, Capcom, stocks of both companies would rise dramatically. Just on a rumor, not a real announcement.
So I herd Nintendo is buying Capcom...

True story.

Greg! Just what I needed after a disappointing Nintendo press conference.

I'll take it as a hint that they still care about F-Zero. It's as if Nintendo want to use NintendoLand as a place where people get the know the functions of the gamepad better. Not only that, but also as a place that people can visit to get a taste of the "forgotten" franchises that we haven't seen in awhile, like the F-Zero themed mini-game mentioned at the roundtable. Pure speculation of course, but it's a vision that just popped up in my head.
