Of course, the big focus this week on the eShops is the various sales. Although half the eShop isn`t on sale right now, it just SEEMS like it. But there are a couple of new titles for your perusal before the football games kick off. On the Wii U, the sole newcomers are a Cuite Pets title and the VC release of the week, Konami Krazy Racers. Remember when Konami’s mascots WEREN’T being slammed into pachinko machines? The Virtual Console does. The 3DS gets the surprisingly pricey Pet Hospital. But really, it’s all dressing for next week’s mech-sized elephant Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Europe has a big week as far as the NES is concerned, and one might sense a theme here as we`re heavy into the “beating people up” category. Double Dragon II, Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3 and the Virtual Console debut of The Adventures of Bayou Billy all drop in PAL regions, which includes the first 3rd party Zapper title. Also, seven hundred and seventy five million Hello Kitty themes (or some illegal amount).
