I just finished Virtue's Last Reward. The final Beginning or end ending left me unsatisfied to be honest, and I saw some of the twists from miles away, such as the setting was on the moon, Sigma had the appearance of an old man, and Akane was the old woman.

Got Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward yesterday. I've gotten two endings so far. I'm liking the full voice acting in cutscenes.

Scribblenauts on Nintendo DS. Horrible controls. Returned it a week later. Turned me off from the rest of the series.

Bought The Sims 3 on Sunday. I was on the fence about buying it for a long time. The last game in the series I played was the original The Sims (with several of the expansion packs), and the last time I played that was around 7 years ago. So it was interesting to see the game world rendered in 3D and that Sim emotions and behaviors were a lot more complex. It took a lot of getting used to.

Finished Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, nearly 2 years after buying it. The story completely blew my mind. Will be getting the sequel once I drain some of my gaming backlog.

@Chad: If your password has a mixture of capital and lowercase letters, here's the potential problem: the Shift key is actually a Caps Lock key. It doesn't go back to lower case upon typing one letter.

I'm playing EarthBound for the first time. It's fun but really frustrating at times. I reconfigured my control schemes to be more like Mother 3, so opening and navigating menus would be less tedious.

I'm curious to know what changes were made (if any) to alleviate the supposed copyright issues the game has.

In a recent interview with Kotaku, WayForward Technologies revealed some new details about DuckTales Remastered: the game will not include a new "extreme" difficulty mode as well as a new final stage that will take place on Mount Vesuvius.
So are these features included or not?

Never played the original game myself, so I'm really excited to experience this for the first time.

I've yet to have one person legitimately attempt to discuss the numerous flaws I've found in 3D Land
I'm pretty sure I've mentioned a few times that I also disliked 3D Land. Part of it is how stupidly easy the game is. The counter-argument to that is always "Did you get to the Special Worlds?" Yes, I did. It was better, but why does that justify the first half of the game being boring as tar? Also, many of those levels were carbon copies with cosmic clones or shorter time limits added. 3D Land's level progression felt really random. First you were in the desert, next in snow area, then in beach, and back again. It makes sense in Galaxy since each level is self-contained in its own galaxy, but it feels like you're going in circles in 3D Land with this progression. I feel that 3D Land is the only Super Mario game that was truly rushed, and it makes sense: development of the game was basically a year and a half (if it started immediately after Galaxy 2), all the other 3D Mario titles took significantly longer. It was going toward some good places, but it feels like it didn't quite finish getting there.

In that regard, I feel that with 3D World they have more development time and know what worked and what didn't work in 3D Land. I'm excited to see what comes of 3D World as a result.

Wii Fit U was on my must buy list ever since it was announced. Wii Party was one of the addicting games I've played on Wii, and Wii Party U looks to sport some of the most creative uses of the Wii U GamePad. I also give two shits.

I didn't really like Super Mario 3D Land because it felt so simple and easy. So when I saw the trailer I was feeling a bit meh.

But on the other hand, I didn't like the original NSMB for the same reasons and when I first saw NSMBWii I felt meh also, but when I finally tried it, it was one of the best experiences ever. So I'll keep my eye on this game; I think that they've gotten the basic formula perfected in SM3DL (but played it too safe with the level design) and can focus on some really great levels in this game as a result.

Believe it or not, that game is actually a very decent digital cookbook.  Whether you need something like that (let alone five copies) is hard to say - but it's totally worth owning for anyone who wants to try some simple recipies, and paying a buck a piece for DS cases alone might be worthwhile for some people.
Yes, it and Personal Trainer: Cooking have some really delicious recipes that I make very frequently.

I've really wanted to see the original Yoshi's Island as a 3D remake. The multiple background layers would be look gorgeous.

Something I noticed immediately after booting up New Super Mario Bros. U (downloaded) is that the Nintendo Land disc inside stopped spinning, making the console a lot more quiet.

The opening portion of Super Mario Galaxy was filled with story - it was the most engrossed I've ever been in a Mario platformer. I've always wanted to see more of that...dispersed between sections of levels to further the story of whatever Mario game it may be. It was highly enjoyable, and it really added to my immersion with Galaxy.
People I've tried introducing Super Mario Galaxy to in the past often stop after the first 15 minutes. They got tired of Rosalina force-feeding her side plot, which has no impact on the game as a whole. They just wanted to play the game. I have to agree. I didn't like being yanked back to the start of the Observatory every few stars to listen to some bullshit about the Toad Brigade, who have nothing to do with the advancement of plot at all. Sure they appear in a few levels, but they contribute nothing of value... they're just there. I enjoyed SMG2's lack of story a lot better as a result.
