NEW FALL SCHEDULE: OCT. 2011

Sun Oct. 2nd: SUPER - "Group Movie"

Mon: BNM - Monsturd

Wed: Morari - Dead Alive

Fri: Ceric - The Blob

Sun Oct. 9th: SUPER - "Group Movie"

Mon: oohhboy - From Dusk Till Dawn

Wed: Stogi - Insidious

Fri: ThePerm - The Thing

Sun Oct. 16th: SUPER - "Group Movie"

Mon: TBD

And as far as gallons of blood, I think Dead Alive has any and everything beaten by alot.
Also the pudding/custard scene... :puke:

Long-time favorite though as far as fun horror movies go.

I also guess no one had anything to say about the "shitty" movie I MFT'd.
I think I'll do something a little less low budget and intentionally absurd next time.

The Blob (1958)

Go Go Catchy Bongo/Sax Music.

Clap Clap-Clap

Beware of the Blob

Its worse then Fungi.

So begins are love story.

Older Perv kissing Young Girl the start of the horror movie...

Revolutionary Tire View because the Guy is too ugly.

No, Don't you Hear the Violins.  Danger Will Robinson Danger.

Can't resist urge.. Must Poke with Stick.

Ah, its a cute silver squishy blob oh wait I mad it into a mucussy mess...

Oh god... why oh Why did I roll so bad on my spot check...

Your right boy that sandwich is going to be all on you.

Oh God... There's a Car... Why Oh Why are my Spot Checks sooo bad.

"Boy, I hope the Doctors in"  "Yes, I'm leaving. Watch my House."  If the blob wasn't enough the Cosmos gets some.

I'm going the Blazing 50mph.  Now one can catch me noooooowwwww.

Man, that hand is covered with a lot of Ear Wax.

I'm going to consult my oldest book.

The aliens must have brainwashed the 30 plus adults to be teens all over again.

I'll never try to be black again Officer Neva, Home Skillet.

Backward driving before Cars.  Sacrilege.

Enemies to BFFs in 4 minutes flat.  I don't just race fast.

SOOON Venom will Emergegegege.

"A real piece of sky"  OMG The Sky is falling the Sky is fallling...

"Doesn't sound like a house, Sounds like a dog."

Why So Serious?

Fear me.  For I am a Balloon.

Lets throw Acid at the Acid Monster.  It will surely work like bullets.

I ... am ... so ... surprised... bullets didn't work on the Acid blob.

Snapping, the Sense maker.

The Violens there back.

Blob: I must save the Universe from the King of All Cosmos no matter how many humans it takes.

Blob: I'm a Super Ninja.  Car man had no chance, from my Sneakiness.

Polio its Everywhere.

Hey Sis, Where you be Go'n.
I've got someone very important to do.
I'll go.
Stay Home and Guard mommy and Daddy.

Blob: Me Star.  Stupid 30 year old kids.

Go Go Halfway Story Recap.

Female Lead: I believe you.  Why haven't you jump me yet?

Time honored tradition of the Neutral push to sneakout.

The Vampire and the Robot, Please tell me that's an actual movie.
Its not... a doctored Forbidden Planet Poster.

The Drunken Toad.  A fine Tradition for over 50 years.

Blob:  Forget Food Stuff.  Give me Human.. Braaaaiiinsss.  Noo that doesn't work.

Slicing Weapons.  It works on Jello.

Lets hide in the worse sealed meat room Ev'a.

Blob:  Ah, Dog Scary.  Me No like Dog.

PTSD Represent, yo yo.

"Be Extra Alert the Rain gonna get ya."

Being a brainwashed 30 year old has its advantages. Like being able to "borrow" the fire engine.

Blob: Ah ha.  My plan is working.  4 brains better then none.  They all gather.

Blob:  Are they laughing at me?

Man, that movie was so bad we just had to run.

Blob:  I'm very considerate Blob.  I only take the humans.

Cop had a car phone, in 1950's.

Blob: I had Just transcended to Animated Blob. Electricity has no effect on me.

Freeze a Blob Genius.

White t-Shirt Brigade Represent, yo yo.

Police: 40-50 People killed.  Actual Count: 6 People killed.

"At least we got it stopped.  At least as long as the Artic stays Cold."  Another Global Warming Problem.  Is this Al Gore's Secret?

Unfortunately for this.  The movie was pretty good.  The picture was good.  The effects not bad at all.  The story couldn't have easily been worse.  I'm sort of curious what Rifftrax did with this.

Ok gents, I need help here. I need a horror or scifi movie that is really truly awful but not much in the way of gore and gross-out stuff.

I'm going to be watching that with a group that includes people who really hate gore, but it still needs to be funny bad.

Leprechaun in the Hood (I think).

and it's streaming on Netflix.

But by no gore, do you mean no real violence of any kind?
or just no graphic depictions of violence in any way (such as lots of blood and guts)?

Yeah I ended up being at a thing. But I got something for you!

This week's movie that I watched on Netflix at 5 am is: THEM!

Them! from 1954 comes to you in stunning black-and-white. Mostly. These were all the colors they were budgeted:

"Hey sarge, whatchoo think broke in here and done ate all them people and sugar cubes?"
"**** if I know."

This egghead thinks he's got it figured out, but he's going to save the surprise.

It's giant ants **** **** **** **** **** **** ****

**** **** **** **** **** ****

Cool fact about this movie: they got mountains and mountains of real military gear and people trained to use it, and they went HOG WILD.

This chopper is pimp as all get out:

They burned every expensive giant ant prop and basically everything with REAL flamethrowers!

Another cool trivia fact about THEM! It was the second movie (that I know of) to have the Wilhelm scream ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k31xLJ-koOE ) and in fact, uses it four or five times.

Pretty impressive movie, actually. Pretty kickass special effects for 1954. Not one second of cheesy stop-motion animation!

Yeah, post Korean they were over flowing in hardware. They practically gave away or loaned out everything from small arms to working tanks. Movies of the period are flooded with all this surplus equipment. You would have WW2 movies where the British were driving Shermans, while the Germans sported Pattons. I am also sure I remember seeing them "Cooking" of a tank or two as special effects since it was cheaper to actually blow one up.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were firing actual ammuition from most of the guns.

Sorry for the wait, but here it is. 56K users, **** your pants. I present From Dusk till dawn.

BORING

This is not the movie you were looking for.

"I don't care if I have been miss cast, these Tattoos make me badass". *Note pervert on the right.

"A preview of whats to come, pleaes go to the lobby for some popcorn and drinks"

"What do you mean it doesn't work? I learnt this from watching Macgyver"

"Avast me maties, Cankles a hoy! Man the Harpoons"

A surprisingly unattractive pair.

"This isn't Jurassic park my boy."

Still too respectable for this movie.

Pictured - Pervert.

Someone has to keep score.

End of part one.

From Dusk Till Dawn -  the last encounter: Until the weird sequals

Weapons

More weapons

Always use protection

Not a weapon. He like injures two vamps with this thing until it becomes literal dead weight.

Too stupid to live.

Dance bitches dance.

Seth: [talking about the Titty Twister] You've never been here before?
Carlos: No. I drove by it a couple of times. It's a rowdy place, it's out in the middle of nowhere, there'd be no cops and it's open from dusk till dawn. And didn't you say you wanted to meet in the morning? Here we are.
Seth: Well since you just picked this place out of a hat, my brother is dead, that girl's entire fucking family is dead!
Carlos: What, were they psychos? Or...
Seth: Do they look like psychos? Is that what they look like? They were vampires! Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a **** how crazy they are!
Carlos: Seth, how can I make it up to you?
Seth: Can't make it up to me Carlos. I tell you, you can't do it. Can't make it up!
[has second thoughts on Carlos' deal]
Seth: 15%, instead of 30% for my stay in El Ray, that's a good start.
 Carlos: 28.
Seth: My brother's gone, you understand that? He is gone, and he is not coming back, and that is your fault. 20.
Seth, Carlos: [shake on deal] 25.

"**** man, the audience is as confused about all this as I am. Aw man, I mean, just what the **** happened. First we are killing cops, setting people on fire, raping whales then we have this Vampire ****. At least they didn't sparkle and the popcorn was good."

Thank you for watching and please place your litter in the bins provided on your way out.

It's not that time consuming to print screen a few photos.... especially when you have all week to stretch it out.

a 2hr movie just instead becomes a 2.5-3hr movie depending on how quickly you can crop and save.
