I honestly didn't think that list was impressive at all.Really? That list is insane in the membrane, considering the expectation for Nintendo home consoles is nothing.
*You will see Nintendo sway more toward Western publishers than Eastern/Asian publishers. Nintendo feels that Eastern/Japanese publishers have lost their persuasion over the gaming market. They don’t feel japanese publishers have the appeal to gamers like they did years ago. They feel companies like Activision, Bioware, 2K Games, Rockstar, Blizzard, Valve, Electronic Arts, are dominating the gaming industry. Nintendo feels that North America is a more important gaming market than Japan and they will go to the publishers that appeal the most to North America. Nintendo no longer considers Japan to be as important of a market as they use to believe.Seems odd that Blizzard would be listed here considering they don't typically release console games. Starcraft 64 is the last console game I remember them being involved in. Being listed separately from Activision is somewhat odd since they're under the same parent company though they exist and operate as a separate entity
*The team that worked on Smash Bros 64, Smash Bros Melee, and Smash Bros Brawl transferred the assets of the game to another developer to work on it. The original Smash Bros team is not working on this new Smash Bros title. What does that even mean? The original and Melee were developed by Hal Labs. Brawl was developed primarily by Game Arts. I don't recall Hal Labs having any direct involvement in Brawl's development besides granting Game Arts access to the old code and materials of the previous games.
No phone is best for everyone. That's not true at all.
So what are the chances of Nintendo, considering their history with ARM, going with them in project Cafe?I believe the main strength of ARM processors is their lower power consumption which is why they're normally found in mobile devices. Would Nintendo need that for a home console that is meant to be plugged in all the time?
I wasn't aware that 360 was Cell powered. but that's probably because it's not..... or was it?New book from IBMers: Sony suckered into funding Xbox chip
I hope it's not the actual name. The more I think about it, the worse that sounds. Not to worry. We're probably all going to call it the PSV anyway.
It should have been called "PS Vista" and came with a copy of Windows Vista preinstalled on it.And every time you pressed a button to perform an in-game action, it asked you for permission.
But isn't the joke that Sony gave up on patching security even after being warned because they didn't find/see the immediate threat. That's what caused the whole crash in the first place. One could argue that this whole thing started because Sony included the OtherOS feature in the first place which, once the dominos fell, apparently led to Anonymous or whatever hacker group bitchslapping PSN, supposedly as a response to Sony suing George Hotz aka PS3 Homebrew Hacker Jesus. Sony could have upped security and made things harder for hackers, but every server is vulnerable. Hackers will find exploits, they always do. Sony didn't forget that there was a problem, they decided it wasn't one worth spending millions fixing which, ironically and justifiably, may cost them billions. They were warned by the hackers and laughed it off (I'm sure every major corporation would have too). They won't ever make that mistake again... or at least I hope they won't. It amazes me that a throw away joke comment basically describing Metal Gear Solid's poor AI (*C4 explodes* "What was that noise? Must have been nothing.") can cause so much trouble.
lack of security and no steps taken to patch holes even though they knew they were vulnerable.
That happened on PSN.I know you're joking, but considering that whole ordeal cost Sony over a billion dollars in damages, plus the drop in confidence from consumers and 3rd parties, I don't think Sony is forgetting about the PSN crash for quite some time.
Tripping happens in real life, so I am fine with it being in games. It makes it more realistic.I play videogames because they're not realistic. Even games touted as realistic aren't realistic. Silencers don't quiet gunshots to whispers, guards don't forget a massive security breach by an unknown assailant occurred just because they couldn't find him after 30 seconds, Steve Nash doesn't dunk etc. If I wanted realism, I could join the Army or not be Steve Nash on my own time.
There has gotta be more interesting things you can nit pick about on the internet. We wouldn't have this problem if you would post more rumors. I, personally, blame you.
I think L-Block from Tetris should be a playable character. No, that's silliness. The I block was the money block. If any Tetris character makes the cut, it should be the I block.
