I can't believe this thread fell off; I thought it was stickied. Is anyone getting Pokemon Snap?

I got it last Monday. It brought back a lot of great Pokemania memories...and it was as short as I remembered. I beat the whole thing in like 2 hours, but its certainly fun to go back and try to get the best score.

The new Wii feature can be fun if used right. For example, I took one of my pics and sent it to the message board and created a 'Dead Rising" spoof pic, right down to how much PP its worth.

Since I've been busy as all hell lately I haven't been able to go back to it but I will shortly.

For me it was, because it was a great game back in the 80s and it still is, at least to me.

Wonder what Nintendo is going to do with the whole "blank letter" that originally came with the Star Tropics that gave the code needed to continue with the game.

From what I hear on the manual they have an option to dip it in water to get the code.

$5.00 is a great price for this classic game.  It is a great action game, but I am surprised how much the game can turn into a puzzle game with some devilish level designs.  It is fun, and with two players it is a blast.

I will tell you though the sound track is horrible.  I mean it is a catch tune, but since it is only one song for the entire game it can become grating.

Star Tropics is great.  It makes me really hope that Mike Jones is a playable character in Smash Bros. Brawl.  That yo-yo, or "Island Star" as they're calling it now, would make for a great weapon with interesting attacks.  Aerials would be insanely fun!  Anyhoo, yes, I'm loving the game once again, as I did so long ago.  I really hope this game gets enough buys, too, because I really want to see the sequel released on the VC.  I never got to try out Zoda's Revenge at all.  Shame shame.

Yeah from Cruis'n USA, I have a soft spot in my heart for it. I remember just messing around and chasing cars down with the cop car or driving the bus. What we were willing to do for entertainment back in the N64 drought!

I thought Cruis'n USA was pretty fun in the arcades but it lost a lot of the little touches in the N64 port that kind of exposed to me that it wasn't really all that great.  The N64 version didn't cut it in 1996 and it certainly won't cut it now.

It's funny that at the time Killer Instinct and Cruis'n USA were the two "Ultra 64" games and in the end the first KI was only ported to the SNES and Cruis'n USA's port was the sh!ts.  F*ck man we STILL haven't gotten decent arcade ports of these games and that seemed to be the whole point of the N64 at the time.

Well Pac-attack is a puzzle game a mix of tetris and pac-man. Did you look at Gamefaqs wii channels board? I haven't played it so I can't give you much information. How was Riot Zone?

Now that I think about it I believe Pac man World 2 had it in as a bonus.

Could we please get some N64 games that aren't from the racing genre? We already have Mario Kart, F-Zero, and Wave Race, that's nearly half of the N64 games so far.
