Saints Row The Third: "Guardian Angel" mission glitch?

I'm currently doing the mission "Guardian Angel" with Pierce, but he doesn't get in the car and drive. I'm sitting here in the helicopter watching him wander around aimlessly. I downloaded the game from the PlayStation Store, so is this a glitch with the digital version?
