Agh. I still call shenanigans, and demand a manual hand recount of the votes.

/recounts, is still dead.

Well, I can spell my own name. Score for me.
There was an edit AFTER my vote, and AFTER the deadline. I've yet to play in a game where edits were allowed, and if the thread is closed at 12:00, then a vote made after 11:59 is obviously invalid anyway. Like I said, BS.

Vote Frozen Atlantic. I watched Gundam Wing 1-5000, and a typo that lasts that long is shameful.

Lol if this isn't comin out and stating that Wandering is your brother in the mob I don't know what is.

Lol you fail.

Vote and flee? A little dramatic, aren't we?

I read the past days, I vote, and then I explain my vote for others. Nothing to it. Seems to me that getting caught up in OMGUS drudgery is the quickest way to get bandwagoned and killed around here. Look at all the frequent posters we've been killing off.

I wonder what triggered Redd's case of the runs. I'll hold my vote until later.

Pale was the play yesterday. He is still probably mafia, but I think Vudu is the most obvious lynch right now.

Forget Square, howza bout some Atlus/Nippon Ichi love? That'd be awesome.

Graphics are the major selling point of the Final Fantasy series. I don't see it leaving PS3.

I'm pretty sure it's Vogons.

On an unrelated note, I found a leak of Thom Yorke's record.

If you liked Kid A/Amnesiac era Radiohead, you'll like this. Only 9 tracks though.

I found GTA:SA's controls satisfactory. Not excellent or flawless, but good.

I've never read so much elitist horsecrap in one thread.

You guys give Animal Crossing pass for it's shoddy graphics because it's "innovative". You talk about DK Jungle Beat like it's the bee's knees. Nobody rags on Katamari despite it's terrible camera system, and you want to heap up on GTA because it's popular? You guys sound like playa hatas to me, man.

How's this for innovation? I can get a pilots license, carjack a police car when I leave, drive to the airport (with Snoop in the background), hijack a jet, do loop-de-loops thousands of feet in the air, fly into the middle of Vegas, parachute out of the plane while giggling maniacally, land on top of the building, climb to the bottom, and play blackjack inside the nearest casino.

Is it as highbrow as Indigo Prophecy? No. Is it fun as hell? Yes.

And isn't that what makes a game? I find it pretty lame that you guys bust out the Nintendo mantra of "who cares about graphics and minor technical issues if the core game is fun," and then get all nitpicky when I wanna bust a cap on the streets of San Andreas.

Psh. And I think Rockstar has been VERY responsible with the GTA license. Every game has been significantly updated (in content/size if not graphics/control), and shoot... imagine if Sony was making this series in house! There'd be a new one every year! Then again, I've been a fan of the series since it was in 2D on the PS1 and the Circle button made you burp and fart. Maybe I'm biased.

Dredg are from here. VERY good tunes.
At The Drive In had one five star GREAT record and a couple solid ones.
Mars Volta, like I said, are the forefront of music today. They're basically Led Zep 2006, rewriting the rulebook of music.
Sparta are above mediocre. Again, I discovered them before At The Drive In, so I probably had lower expectations. ("Mars Volta and the growly Cut Your Ribbon d00d were in a band? Aw, sweet)

They have this very good Fugazi meets stadium rock feel in their best songs... but they also tend to include some slow, boring filler. I've mostly heard good things about their live show, although I've heard they're meat/potatoes. Jim Ward was never into all the crazy stage theatrics.

They both have new CD's this fall. Tend to release at the same time. Hmm.

"I've listened to the Mars Volta, but it just doesn't do it for me."
That's because YOU FAIL.

I kid. Have you heard At the Drive In?

(Don't yell at me, I actually discovered TMV BEFORE ATDI, so.. puh.)
