Fry's Electronics has The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for $19.99.  The website lists the game for $29.99, so I guess that this is only an in-store sale.

Game Crazy has the same sale as well.

Amazon's Deal of the Day is Mario & Sonic for $29.99.

Also, today's Lightning Deals are all going to be Wii games.  First up is Cabela's Big Game Hunter for $19.99.  There are only hints for the rest so far:

"Wii will, Wii will rock you!" - I'm hoping this is Guitar Hero 3.
"Muster your squad to fight the terrorist threat" - My guess is Ghost Squad.
"Get your hardball fix without worrying about rainouts." - Some baseball game.

Everyone dropped the price of Z&W to $30 like 2 months ago.  Where have you been?

Our city is trying to prevent Wal-Mart from building their second store in the middle of town. Here's hoping they succeed! We're becoming a Wal-Mart nation.

Amazon's DoD is now AW:DoR for only 17 bucks...

I'm tempted, but it's too cheap to qualify for free shipping...

Is there really nothing else you want that you could add to the order to get it over $25?  I added some stuff I want to my wishlist for just such an occasion, personally.  I already have this one, though.

I'm in the same boat as Pale.  I love me some AW, but Nintendo screwed up and made Dual Strike so damn replayable.  I don't think I ever need to buy another Advance Wars again.

There are still two more DS lightening deals for today, so if any of them are any good I might break down and get it.

While that is tempting, I typically play AW (and all SRPGS for that matter) in short bursts.  I like to play a few turns while lying in bed waiting to to go sleep.  It's not ideal for multiplayer.

For those interested, through tomorrow Gamestop is having a Buy 2 get 1 free sale. The thing that makes this extra juicy is the fact that they are clearancing out old Gameboy and Gameboy Color games. At one of my local Gamestops, they had 2 massive boxes that they kept in the back loaded with games. I walked out with a nice load of games including:

Metroid II, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Land, Pokemon Pinball, Game & Watch Gallery 2 + 3, Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, Wario Land 3, and Conker's Pocket Tales.

The lot of them cost me $20, which is a damn steal in my opinion. There were plenty of other games available, which I will be going back to browse through tomorrow. The selection was awesome and there were tons of copies of all the Zeldas, Super Mario games and other Nintendo Gameboy classics. Just a friendly heads up for anyone looking to expand their handheld collection.

Sorry for not mentioning it originally, this was in Calgary. It might be a YMMV thing... I saw it at full-price today at another store.
