Nintendo Gaming / RE:RS III pre order disc- anyone have it yet?
« on: September 05, 2003, 12:58:26 AM »
"That is quite fast, if you ask me, but not as fast as Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2."

Except if you live in Europe or Australia. SMB2 came out 2 and a half years later after SMB1 @ launch.

On the PCG Homepage: blatant error.

I've heard of Pikmin 2, I'm not sure about Pkimin 2 however

I reckon it's because of duplicating cars from GX/AX.

The E-Reader is also used for Animal Crossing. So expect AC to either be very delayed, or not arrive at all.

Do JB and I seem to make up the Nintendo Europe side of PGC?

I never heard much of the rewards system in Europe. But then again, I doubt people would be raving it up if we only get wallpaper and screensavers.

The first of the big title games to come out here in the UK is P.N.03.
That's 2 weeks away. I've seen or heard absolutely nothing of it.

GAME has footage from it, but that's about it.

I'd recommend Super Monkey Ball 2.

Mario Kart appears to be set for release in the UK in November.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles says December. I thought this was delayed until at least February?
The Twin Snakes simply isn't listed.

Starcraft: Ghost and Mario Golf both say TBD.

One down, one to go: Are you listening Nintendo Europe?

4839
Thanks for clarifying that

Well here in the UK, there was no Metroid Prime/Fusion ads.
The Wind Waker ads were awful frankly. If anything, they put me off buying the game.

Metroid Prime sold 800,000 copies worldwide.
Wind Waker sold 1 million in the first week, here in Europe (I think, I'm not 100% certain).

When people hear Legend of Zelda, they think the game is based around Zelda, but not Link.
Metroid isn't a mainstream franchise: I'm not saying that it isn't a good one (I would be clearly lying if I said it was a poor game) but those who rated Halo better than Metroid Prime (With my friends) have all changed their opinion having seen/played it several months later.
If this was say, Vice City it automatically gains the "good game status".

Thats how I see it.

I personally don't want to see SK do another remake right after The Twin Snakes.

I don't believe one of Nintendo's in-depth-story developers should be reduced to making more remakes.
That said, I'll wait until I see The Twin Snakes then decide after said point.

4842
Metroid Prime has that 'pick up and play'. Took me a while before I realised I could reverse the axis, and things got better straight away

4843
I think it's fair consdiering Australia doesn't get Animal Crossing

So what has AM2 done that is so profitable for Sega to remain unchanged, that Amusement Vision and Smilebit didn't do and get shuffled around with?

I thought Sega's best money making teams were Sonic Team, AV and Smilebit?
"If it isn't broken, why fix it?" comes to mind..

With Die Hard Vendetta, it appears that the cube and xbob only got single player.
The PS2 got multiplayer.

I'm concerned for Monkey Ball really. One of Nintendo's best 100% GCN Third-Party Developers (who also makes a lot of cash for Sega), is being split. Their talent is then turned to sport??

Nintendo Gaming / Animal Crossing. What is it?
« on: July 25, 2003, 01:49:18 AM »
One of the most visually misleading games of all time
It's in the same cateory as the sims, but considerably better (In my opinion) than which.
