Podcast Discussion / Re: Episode 127: (Expletive) Mario Platformer
« on: March 30, 2014, 10:34:57 PM »
As my own opinion I really didn't find Tropical Freeze really hard which is why I didn't like it that much more than Returns. I found it extremely easy with the exception of the Temple levels. But there are no way it compares to the Bat(Rocket Barrel Level which I probably lost like 50 lives on that level) and any of the other temple levels in DK Country Returns. I played it on Wii with motion control(which I didn't really mind) and played it again on 3DS with buttons. I still found it really hard compared to Tropical Freeze. Or maybe I'm just really good at 2D platformers. On the other hand Tropical Freeze has some amazing music and level design.

I'm lukewarm on all the NSMB games but I loved DKCR, played it over and over on Wii, then bought it on 3DS and played it again. Am I the only one...?

I'm not even sure quite what it is about it, it just has so much more charm. Rayman, too. NSMB feels formulaic, uninspired.

No you aren't the only one I bought it on 3DS even though I have the Wii version I think it has it's problems but it's amazing. One of the best platformers I have ever played. For some reason I didn't mind shaking the Wii Remote to roll. I can't wait for this game

Oh gee. A Valentine's gift for me Nintendo you shouldn't have. ;P

I bought this game for my brother's gift for Christmas. I wasn't interested in it. But then I played it and it was breathtaking. I love the music in the game. I downloaded every single song from the game. It's awesome. It's one of my favorite games on Wii. I don't know if many people have played this. But they should if they haven't

Dementium the Ward was scary for me as a handheld game. Dead Space, and  Resident Evil 2. I tried playing Resident Evil 2 in the dark when I was younger and turned down the volume and still got scared. Also the remake of Resident Evil scared me also. When the zombies would get up and chase after you after they were dead.

Podcast Discussion / Re: Best of the Wii: House of the Dead: Overkill
« on: October 03, 2012, 10:36:11 PM »
Hey I actually picked this game up because Neal recommended it on Connectivity. On their games that people are going to be considered to be classics in the next few years. I really like how Headstrong just went balls out on this game. I like this game over the Resident Evil shooters they were just boring for me. I loved House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return on the Wii. This game just added so much laughs, and so much fun. There have should hve been made more light gun shooters for the Wii and this is the only descent one. I can't say much for Dead Space because I never played that.

Man I hope so. I never got to play Superstar Saga. I hope they release them on the 3DS. I'm on a Metroid run right now. I have completed Other M, Metroid(NES), and now playing through Metroid II : Return of Samus.

I think digital is ok. But I think I'd rather stick with retail. Because games are so much cheaper online then in the stores. I got Pilotwings for 20 bucks.

For the last star try using Luigi instead of Mario. It's not any easier but his jumps helps through the level

My Favorite Mario Kart. The portable Mario Karts never do it for me. All the rage it took me to unlock everything in Mario Kart Wii made me mad but it was a fun game. Getting hit by 3 blue shells in one race is never fun. But a very enjoyable kart racing game.

Oh gee. I think this Mario Kart is my favorite. I spent so much time unlocking everything. Mario Kart 7 was a disappointment for me. I think I got hit by 3 blue shells in one race in mirror mode. Oh the rage!!! It's a great game though.

TalkBack / Re: Predictions for Sept. 13 Wii U Event
« on: September 11, 2012, 05:15:25 PM »
I'm just gonna say that the price is gonna shock everyone. I believe that there are going to be multiple skus at launch but the cheapest one is going to be 250. I think. I mean if Nintendo makes it 299.99 and Sony or Microsoft end up dropping there price. Then Nintendo would be kinda of screwed in terms of price. Consumers would easily buy a PS3 or 360 for $250 then a new 300 dollar system.

This has to be packed in the system. It shows off the Gamepad perfectly. Much like Wii Sports showed how the Wii Remote work. Or maybe a new announced game that is gonna be packed in the system. On another note, this game is epic. Can't wait to play it

I have never been ready to hear what the price is. I'm dropping my money at Gamestop as soon as they announce the price.

If both of these games are there are launch. I'll probably have to get Nintendoland first and then Super Mario Bros for Christmas.  I never been so excited to buy my first Nintendo home console at launch. I will be preordering as soon as they announce the price.
