Title: Prince of Persia:The Two Thrones help

So yeah I am playing through The Two Thrones and I am stuck on an area. I just beat this boss where you have to make it blind and then attack its feet. The part after that is where I am stuck. I am the Dark Prince and I get through the traps and I make it to the end of the area and there is a ladder going down and there is some thing that you can grab hold of that is across the way. In the same room there is lots of crates with sand in them and I can't seem to find a way out of this room. Any help would be appreciated.:)
