I seriously think the coloured Toads are placeholders, I wouldn't conclude they will end up in the final product.

I swear I will boycott Nintendo if those mushroom people or Toad are not in the final product. There's no reason for them not to be there.

Don't you DARE say another word against those sweet, beautiful mushroom citizens! but for real, we really don't know who is playable yet. I would not be surprised to see Peach or Wario.

Don't expect to see Oogtar though.

I knew somebody was going to use that word. I thought about saying "at least it isn't called Twatter" just to get that out of the way.

Ho, ho, ho, hoooo...I always thought the word was a goofy word...like calling someone a cur or a dolt. Anyway, I don't use Twitter, and probably won't ever use it. I regret even getting a Facebook account. I will stick to my archaic Myspace and Livejournal pages to let my friends know when I am on the toilet.

thanks for all the help guys...I think I can do it. I was playing my old copy of Crystalis, and to my dismay...it doesn't save anymore. It was fine a few weeks ago though. I wish Nintendo had the rights to take any game that was on the NES/SNES and put it on the VC...but that is not too realistic due to licensing agreements which expire.

I recently dusted off my old NES, and I am trying to find a way to replace the batteries in some old games with batt backup. Does anyone know of a site, or a place (in NYC) that does it, or can show me how to do it?

strange request, I know...but I figured I'd try here.

*casts 'life2' on topic. The game is almost heeeere! I read a small import review of it, and got a few chuckles. I can't wait to get my hands on this game actually. Nothing will ever take the place of AC in my heart, but I am now hooked on this whole 'town/relationship building' genre.

However there's no sign of hateful feudalist Tom Nook, and no obligatory instant loan to the tune of several billion Bells.

I lol'd at this statement, cause that is a perfect description of Nook!

Just read something a bit disappointing on Kotaku...it seems that XSEED is no longer publishing this game, and for tight now, the future of this title is up in the air. I really hope this game makes it here, since it's probably one of the four games left on the Wii that I am interested in.

I think instead of VOD, Nintendo needs to concentrate on bringing some good third party support/games to the Wii first...THEN they can concentrate on getting the movie White Chicks as a download.

For those who have played this game a lot: who did you choose to marry?  Was anyone else a little put off by how this part was handled?

Well, I have made 3 save datas so I can try them all. I actually prefer Nera...she looks the best, and she is a decent mage. Bianca is balanced fighting and some magic, Deborah is mostly a fighter character.

I think it was handled okay. Bianca is your childhood sweetie, and Nera is the bride you won for being a hero. It's pretty common that a champion of a kingdom be offered the hand of the princess of that kingdom. And Deborah suddenly wanting to marry you was probably due to her idea that she has a right to everything...even what Nera has.  I have JUST done this part, so you are farther than I am...but I love this game so much!

Nera looks the best out of all three of them actually. She looks better in the party as well.
