It's the video game DotD, not the main one in the gold box.  Regardless, it seems they've run out of all but the PS2 ones.  Oh well.  I got the tip from lightningdeals.com.  You can use their price history to see that it was indeed $9.99 today.

I was at Target yesterday and noticed that there are quite a few good $50 games on sale for $37. Sin & Punishment 2, Mario Galaxy 2, No More Heroes 2 w/ ... er, something included (it's in a big box). Wii Motion + maybe?

On DS they have some slight sales going too, but I can't remember any titles right off the top of my head.

Your store had No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle for $37? Their website has it for $30. No mention of a bundle, so maybe your store had a special bundle.

For those curious, Target's site also has Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Sin and Punishment: Star Successor for $37, so they are not just in-store deals.

Neither of those are good deals for No More Heroes 2. I recently bought it off Amazon for $17.

That's a little surprising, they have been out of stock of the bundle for some time now.

Buy a Mario game and get a Wii remote for $29.99 on Amazon.

This is probably being done to help clear out Wiimote inventory to make room for the Wiimote+ which will of course have M+ integrated into it. But if it doesn't bother you, these Wiimotes do include M+ as the addon module.

I've never dealt with Buy.com before, they look like a literal clone of Amazon. Are the two sites related in any way?

No.  Buy.com is just a on-line sales competitor.  They've been around for a while (since the late 90s), but they haven't reached Amazon's level of success.  I've used them before if I could find something on the cheap, but it's been a while.

Buy.com's a pretty reputable online retailer.  I've ordered from them like a dozen times and have never had a problem.

Bought Kirby w/ a free guide (doubt I'll need it) and a $10 giftcard for $50.  Not bad!

Apparently the free shipping from Buy.com meant release date delivery even though it was listed as budget shipping, so Kirby Epic Yarn was waiting in my mailbox today. That's good news, I'll have to remember about Buy.com whenever I shop for games.

That's cool. I pre-ordered Other M on Amazon with Free Shipping and it took them like a week just to ship it. Ugh... Amazon.com gets an insane amount of business, so they are probably at the point where they just don't care.

When did you pre-order? I'm going to guess Amazon didn't have enough copies to fulfill all of the pre-orders so they couldn't ship them all out on day one.

About a month before the game was released. I doubt it was a matter of not enough copies. Its just that Amazon gives customers VERY low priority if they opt for Free Shipping. Its understandable to an extent, because its free and you get what you pay for... but I think Amazon drags their feet more than they reasonably should with that.

I did free shipping and I got mine in four days. But I pre-ordered in mid-July. The pre-order was available for months and included a $20 credit on a future purchase, and I'm sure that attracted many buyers. So I wouldn't be surprised if the pre-orders exceeded their supply relatively quickly.

Amazon.com has Kirby's Epic Yarn for $49.99 w/ a $10 credit on your next game purchase.

Good things come to those who wait.  ;D

Taken with my $20 Other M credit, I'm getting Kirby for net $20.
