Hopefully next issue will have something good in terms of dialogue/info. That's what I was expecting out of this issue, but instead we got the amaterasu surprise.

Between gifts, secret codes, team ups, mission(s) and training, there's some good reason to bump this thread. I personally think the old frog is either dumb or not saying anything for some reason. I'm just glad that Naruto is finally getting some (more) training. Maybe, now he'll be up to Sasuke's level. Speaking of which, he and his crew have changed their name to Hawk. Awesome. The NEW goal is to destroy the Leaf. Also, Sausuke has a new Sharingan! He totally used it! It was kind of cool.

I hate manga that constantly act like someone is dead and then reveal that they aren't...One time? Fine...Two times? Whatever...Do it a dozen times? Just stop...I'm almost hoping that he IS really gone just to avoid this annoying cliche at least once...

I dunno. I was really attached to the character. However, I think that it could make Naruto in to a man, the was Izuma's death did Shikamaru.

Jiraiya was killed in a big battle. If Kakashi dies I think that would be such disrespect for the character. Asuma was not that important to begin with, so it's fine if he died that way.

I really wanna see him get in this fight against one of the many faces of Pain.

But yeah, Asuma was significant to his team, but not really to Naruto. So, I hoping that Kakashi's death (no spoilers here) would be more impactful to Naruto's development.

I just want to know what he's up to. He's basically fucked the Leaf by preventing Naruto from getting back. Well, maybe not fucked completely, but still. What exactly is his motivation? Protecting the 9-Tailed Fox? Keeping Naruto out of the fight to save his life? Or is there malice there?

I think his intentions are to make Tsunade fail as a hokage for not saving konoha, and then he steps right in and saves konoha with his elite ninjas, and then is nominated as hokage.

It's highly likely it's an illusion, although it would be awesome if he lost the Sharingan

Last chapter got things rolling again, can't wait for tomorrows chapter.

I think either Kakashi or Tsunade will be killed because of Pain (heck Kakashi seems dead right now, anyone else noticed Tsunade's "..." *nod* to Choji about it?). If they both die, it would throw the series into chaos!
