How do you compare a CG trailer to actual gameplay?

While everyone is out there wondering if Smash Bros. Switch is a port or not, we are digging in deep with the Inkling costumes in the Wii U version and speculating as to why everyone is in shadows.

What is there to compare? They're the same game. Everyone is saying this is just a port of Smash 4.
