Title: Sending in my Wii U for repair
Post by: nickmitch on February 18, 2015, 09:52:19 PM
Has anyone sent in their Wii U before?

I think I'm just supposed to send it, but I dunno what kind of box Nintendo expects me to ship it in, but I also need a plastic bag to put it in.

Any shipping tips?

Did you not call Nintendo's customer service? I thought they sent the box to you for you to ship it in. Maybe I'm confusing companies here. Definitely talk to customer service first before you ship anything. (If you already have called them, then oops! I feel dumb!)  :-X

Nah, I just filled out the online form.

Should I give them a call? or just wait on a box?

Probably call to confirm, right?

Yeah, I called when my Wii stopped reading discs and they sent a box to me.
Then again, this process might have changed.

Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to call. Even if there's nothing new they say to you, it's only some time wasted.

True that.

Thanks for the advice.

No problem. Let me know (and anyone else who is curious) how it turns out!  :D
