What version of RE1 and RE4 are these?  I don’t see where they said remastered or HD in their twitter announcement.

  • I played a game. I got 9th place and killed one person. It involved a lot wandering around alone.
  • I can't figure out how to change my character. Do I have to buy that?
  • I got a friend request and couldn't figure out how to do that. Turns out it is in the upper right corner
  • The graphics looked decent
How is it going for you guys?

  • I seem to be stuck with the same female character. It is not randomizing for me. I guess I need to buy a skin from the store to change it?
  • I have never previously played this game. I jumped off the battle bus, landed, and was shot 2 minutes later while I was trying to figure out the controls.
  • They really need a practice zone or sandbox mode where you can learn the controls and mechanics without being attacked.
  • I saw Reggie on the battle bus.

The last MH I played was MH Ultimate 3 Ultimate on Wii U. How much different or improved is XX/Generations?

After experimenting, I ended up with these settings:

H: 20%
V: 14%
Look: 65%
Motion 70%

Thanks ShyGuy. I’ve been playing with these settings and they are actually working out nicely.

I generally play DOOM in handheld mode with attached joy-cons, but I don't feel I have found ideal controller sensitivity settings. Is their a general consensus on optimal controller setting percentages for Horizontal Sensitivity, Vertical Sensitivity, Look Smoothing and Motion Sensitivity?  What controller sensitivity levels do some of you have set?

Currently, I have set:
H: 35%
V: 35%
Look: 25%
Motion: 50%

I am glad they were able to finally update the app. It still boggles the mind why a mobile OS feature that has been available for years was not in the initial version of this app.

There were a lot of games I never purchased on Wii U, so here is my list based on games I either never finished or purchased. I would love to have these on the go with Switch. I would also hope these titles would be enhanced in some manner as a deluxe version.

Star Fox Zero (with classic controls)
Super Mario 3D World
Bayonetta 2
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition
Yoshi's Woolly World
The Wind Waker HD
Twilight Princess HD

This is a meaty system software update with a number of needed enhancements.

I hope a future system update provides the following enhancements:

Ability to:
  • move a game previously downloaded to internal memory to a SD Card
  • move or copy saved game data from system memory to a SD Card or cloud based storage
  • create folders
  • re-arrange game icons on home screen
  • import a user Mii from 3DS, Wii U, Miitomo, Nintendo Account, or Nintendo Network ID
  • view a system activity log
  • download optional streaming media apps from the eShop (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, YouTube, Crunchyroll, Twitch, etc.)

Azeke, thanks for taking the time to write this. This is very helpful.

I purchased this game about six days ago and it is quite fun, but extremely difficult.  I am terrible at this game. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but after six days now I still can't get past Caves II which is like the third floor/level. It's quite discouraging.  I think there are at least five more floors (maybe more) and with trouble I am having now, I don't see myself being able to complete this one.

My Win Streak is -93 (deaths) and no Mom kills of course.

After 165 hours freeing all the divine beasts, completing all the main quests, completing many side quests, finding 104 shrines, 268 Koroks, and recovering all the memories, I decided it was time to stop adventuring and take on Calamity Ganon.

Now that I have completed the main story and defeated Ganon, I am having a hard time accepting that I am only at 43.58% completion after 165 hours.

While I am not sure if I will go for a higher completion percentage, this game is amazing and one of the best I have ever pla

WHAT IS THIS, A POST FOR ANTS?

I had the same feeling myself upon completion of my first adventure. However, that completion rate also factors in the Korok seeds, so I'm not stressing about it too much since those things can go **** themselves.

Hahaha. I had the most difficult time editing that. I have no idea what happened.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Switch Console Battery Issues?
« on: March 17, 2017, 12:21:35 PM »
Just an update - Well after more testing, I've discovered that the battery is providing more charge than what the Switch OS is reporting.

100% battery charge, airplane mode on I played power Zelda for 1 hour 40 minutes when the console notified me that the battery was low (15%).  I continued to play and it notified me that the battery was critically low and would go into sleep mode (1%).  This time instead of turning it off (like I previously did as I thought it was drained), I continued to play Zelda and I kept checking the battery level (stayed at 1%).  It finally completely drained (the Switch shutdown) after a total of 3 hours and 23 minutes of play time.

So, this appears to be an operating system or firmware issue with it not communicating properly with the battery.

I will be contacting Nintendo to see if they have other reports of this issue.

In one of those situations try holding the power button down for 10 or 20 seconds.
Does this do something different than holding down the power button for three seconds and choosing Power Options and Turn Off?

Nintendo Gaming / Switch Console Battery Issues?
« on: March 13, 2017, 07:49:38 PM »

Anyone else experiencing battery issues with the Switch console?  I am trying to figure out if I have a defective battery.  I having some odd intermittent issues with charge levels and playtime.

  • I left the console plugged in to A/C power, but turned it off (held down power button for a few seconds and chose "Turn off."  Multiple hours later when I turned the switch back on the battery was at 74% charge.  So, it stopped charging for some reason.
  • I completely charged my switch to 100% battery charge, turned it off (held down power button for a few seconds and chose "Turn off," and unplugged it from A/C power. 10 hours later when I turned it back on it was at 67%. It didn't hold the charge when it was turned off?
  • 100% battery charge, unplugged from power and played Zelda for 2 hours 25 minutes when the Switch reported that the battery was critically low (1%) and I turned it off. I had airplane mode on, so I would have expected a longer playtime (based on reports).
  • 100% battery charge, unplugged from power and played Zelda for 1 hour 49 minutes when the Switch reported that the battery was critically low (1%) and I turned it off. I had airplane mode on. 35 minutes less playtime then the last time I fully charged it?

Nintendo Gaming / Switch - How to Transfer Digital to SD?
« on: March 07, 2017, 06:11:18 PM »
I just purchased a microSDXC card and was planning on transferring my digital download of Zelda BOtW from the internal storage to the SD card. To my surprise, there does not appear to be a way to do this. If I go into Data Management > Manage Software, the only options I have are Archive Software, Delete Software, and Check for Corrupt Data.

Do I have to "Archive Software" (apparently deletes game and keeps save data) and then re-download the entire game again (which a bit over an hour to originally download)?

If so, it seems like a serious oversight here in the ability to manage data.

How many platinum points were you supposed to receive for pre-registering Miitomo?

200.

Thanks.  I also just discovered "Points History" off of the My Nintendo menu.

Also, I'm guessing this version doesn't support online play since it seems conspicuously absent from the press release. It wouldn't surprise me...

NOA's product page says the game supports eight player online.

Reading these impressions make it sound like a different game than was shown during E3 2014 Treehouse live.   I recall the demo shown in 2014 looked pretty good.  What happened?
