Kmart just cancelled by Super Smash Bros WII U preorder (which was placed in JUNE!). ^%U*&_^.

Not sure what to make out of them but this is my second order that was cancelled in the last couple of weeks (Bayonetta 2 being the other one).

For those that preordered from them you might want to check your status because Kmart didn't even bother to send me an email.

Man, did you just start buying Nintendo games recently or something? This is Nintendo we're talking about! If you want games that are 60% off within 3 months of release, go buy some 360 games or something. :-)

So anyone looking for a good eShop sale should look no further: Darksiders 2 is $10 right now.

The game isn't perfect by any means, but $10 is a great price. Go! Buy!

"Worth it" depends on who is buying... but it is a good value. You'd be hard pressed to find a better game on the eShop for $10. It also includes a handful of DLC content packed in. Wouldn't be surprised to see the game cheaper on Steam at some point - maybe as part of a humble bundle even, since I think the first game had that happen - but this is a great price for a console version.

85 average on Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii-u/darksiders-ii) and 9/10 from this site (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/review/32603/darksiders-ii-wii-u). It's a pretty meaty game despite some technical and design hiccups. Check out some reviews if you want a better feel for the game.

Basically any game that wasn't published by Nintendo is on sale on the eShop right now through the new year. I posted the indie games on their own thread. Here are some retail game highlights:

Came here to post about the plethora of sales on the eShop right now but I see Soren beat me to it. I've already picked up Armillo and Steamworld Dig, and just got around to finally connecting an external hard drive so I can download Pure Chess, Toki Tori 2+, and Resident Evil Revelations.

Don't forget, the Digital Deluxe Promotion ends next Wednesday, so it's worth checking to see how close you are to getting a $5 reward. I'm guessing that's part of why there's so many sales going on right now, combined with the people who got a system for Christmas, it's a good time to be putting games on sale. The sales on the eShop have changed from basically all starting on Thursday to updating throughout the week, so if there's nothing of interest on sale right now, it might be worth waiting to see if anything gets released Monday or Tuesday before just buying something for the sake of buying to get to that next reward.

There are a few more that I haven't listed too.

Most importantly Super Mario 3D World is £34.99 so if like me you still haven't picked this game up now it the time to do so.

There are plenty of other deals on offer too, but you can look on the Eshop and see for yourselves.

I picked up Child of Light, Splinter Cell, AC4 and Mario, I started the download yesterday and I dont think it'll be done until sometime tomorrow!

Almost makes me want to buy it digital so I always have a copy on hand. I may prefer physical but this is quickly falling into pick up and play territory for me. But instead I will go for a new game on sale so I can squeeze out one last DDP credit.
