Mystery History! We welcome back round three of Mystery History and this time we get to watch Casey squirm again as he tries to figure out what Perry’s been playing. He gets off to a hot start, but is it all for naught? Jumping from mystery history to a pair of games that just made Nintendo history, Casey gives us the run down on Pokemon Moon. Continuing his theme of retro games, Perry explores the wonders of the Mega Man Legacy Collection by playing the classic Mega Man 2. (Little does Perry know Casey is purchasing the collection for a second time while he sings its praises.) The boys wrap up what they’ve been playing with the Nintendo eShop exclusive Swap Fire. The game has a lot of unique and fun ideas, but is the overall package worth the price of admission?

Happy 10 year anniversary Wii! It’s hard to believe, but the Wii is officially over a decade old. Casey and Perry take a look back at the Wii including the Revolution, the controller and the name reveal as well as reminisce about their experiences with acquiring and playing the console. The retrospective comes to a close talking about software. Which are Casey and Perry's favorite Wii games?

I actually just got Warioware DIY for the DS yesterday. I found it brand new at EB for $4. I had never played it before, so it was an offer I couldn't refuse.
I have only spent a few minutes with it so far. Any suggestions?

Skyward Sword is what Im currently playing. Im up to the Cistern. I never got this far when I played it at launch. I cant say I like it that much, TP on the Gamecube/Wii U is better. But Im determined to finish it this time.

I really like WarioWare DIY - it's fun to create your own mini-games, even though it's got some clearly definite limitations. Definitely go through the tutorials and you'll find a lot of neat little tricks. There are also plenty of YouTube videos showing off cool levels and even some extra fan-made tutorials.

Now that online is disabled, some content is no longer accessible which is a shame. There used to be a bunch of downloadable games you could get that were made by notable developers, and it was neat to see what they had created.  There are a bunch of unlockable trophies in game that would open up some bonus content; I'm not sure if you can still get them without online connectivity?

Honestly, the biggest suggestions I would give are:
1.  see if you can grab a second copy at $4, because I know there are trophies for sharing content and you can do local swapping (assuming you have a friend or extra DS unit available) to unlock them; if you aren't kind of OCD like me about unlocking stuff, this might not matter to you
2.  after creating a few mini-games of your own, if you enjoy it then grab the WiiWare version so that you can transfer your games and play on the big screen; totally worthwhile if you want to share your creations with friends

This was my first listen to your show. Brilliantly done. Went back and listened to a few older episodes. Good rapport and topics. Keep it up, subscribed. A nice breath of fresh air.

Re the dirty rotten scalper.

Sorry, you're a scalper. And you know it. That's why you spent as much time explaining why scalpers aren't wrong as you did attempting to explain why you weren't one.
