[Mop it up]

Mario and his friends were nearing the completion of their first round of games. "The loser of this next game will be out of the competition." Princess Peach announced.

The game? Hot Bob-omb! The group tossed around the bomb until it exploded on one of them. Yoshi started with the bomb, and nervously waited a few seconds before tossing it to Mario. He calmly held it up and flaunted it in front of the others, then casually passed it to Donkey Kong, who held it in one hand and pounded his chest with his fists. The fuse was now almost down to the detonator as he passed it to Shy Guy, who began to sweat profusely staring at the bomb in his hands. By the time he passed it on, his robe was dripping wet. The bomb ended on poor Luigi, the fuse no longer visible. He knew the time would be up by the time he could pass it on, so he closed his eyes and quivered. After a few seconds, he realized nothing happened, and opened his eyes to discover that the bomb was no longer in his hands. Someone had snatched it and placed it in the hands of Dasmos, the townie, and the bomb exploded before he could react. Dasmos has been eliminated from the Superstar competition! (AKA voted out)

During the game, Wario decided to sneak off from the group. "There's got to be some hidden treasure around here somewhere." Wario said softly to himself. "You can't be royal and have a castle, and not have a treasure room! And Wario's a gonna find it!" As he walked down one of the castle's many large halls, he checked each door as he passed them. Dozens and dozens of rooms he searched, but found nothing. Ever determined, he continued, until at last, he opens a door to find a huge pile of golden coins!

"Wah hah haaaaaaaaah!" Wario cackled in delight. "Jackpot!" He immediately ran up and dove into the coins, tossing them into the air and raining them down overhead. After swimming a few laps through the coins, he stopped for a breather. He heard a snap sound echo through the room, and looked up just in time to see a large jewel-filed treasure chest fall on him. Even he was no match for its weight, and was crushed. Wario, AKA Silenced the townie, has clearly become a victim of Bowser's goons!

Hey everyone, it's minigame time!

First the result of yesterday's game. Unfortunately, nobody got it right. The game was Star Wars Episode 1: Racer! No Free Rolls were handed out.

Today's minigame is Mario Party Trivia! Posted below are three questions, answer all three correctly and you will win a Free Roll! Send me a PM with all three answers by 12:30AM.

1. How many different playable characters total have appeared throughout the entire Mario Party series?
2. What is the name of the host of Mario Party 8?
3. How many coins does it cost to have Boo steal a star in Mario Party 3?

Hey, I said this game wasn't complicated!  Yours was complicated!

Besides, I was mafia last game but that didn't stop me from never showing up.  I don't think there's too much correlation between how much time I invest in the game and my role.

If you want to know I was looking at the votes earlier and I got some info back on who that person changed someones vote to. As you can probably tell from the results up at the top vudu someone change the vote so that you would have 2 votes. Now the possible situation is that the person that changed the vote of someone to you had a blue space meaning that either they are townies or that person is Mafia and rolled a 6 and wasn't in the postion to hit someone so that person got a blue space. I just want to check that person. Covering all the bases.

Just give him false info or half-truths and see what he does with it.  It's kind of fun.  That said he's been somewhat suspicious but so have others.  I need to evaluate some more before I weigh in with a vote.

Reason I haven't mentioned who changed the vote yesterday is because I'm not entirely sure on who are the townies and I don't want a mafia member killing the only person I am certain of.

I wish Mop it up would show up today. I sent her a question earlier that might be of importance in todays vote.

Okay I am pretty confident about the Bustin98 vote right now. I PMed Bustin and asked him for his role PM from the start of the game and he sent me back a PM which showed he recieved it from Mop it up yesterday after the Day 1 vote was over which leads me to believe that he got a fake PM from Mop it up to try to fool us into thinking he was a townie. My PM I got with my role listed now show I got it on the 27th. If you check the signup thread it shows that Mop it up sent out PMs to everyone before The PM about Bustin's supposed role pm. So I am pretty sure that Bustin is a good vote right now.

Yeah.  Actually try to discuss the way people are playing the game, attempt to discern their motivations, and group together based on people who have similar points of view and/or agree with your observations. Much more fun that way.  As it stands, I'm pretty close to agreeing with vudu.

So, I just talked to Mop it up.  Looks like Maxi's evidence about Bustin is busted.  The message she's sent to players with blue red spaces isn't exactly the same as it is in the rules, but rather, it's slightly different.  If you have landed on a blue red space, you can probably check it out yourself to verify.  Plain and simple.

I'm changing my vote.

Edit: Mop it up said it was a thing about red spaces, not blue spaces, that were different.  Toruresu says it was a red space Bustin was talking about.  So, yeah, check red spaces, not blue.

Alright. This is what Maxi "has" on bustin:

1. stevey pmd Maxi that he used his investigation on bustin and turns out bustins Mafia.
2. bustin sent Maxi a pm sent by the host, with the role/square information and it is different from the one posted in the official rules.
3. bustin sent Maxi another forwarded msg about his role, the date stamp was not correct. bustin says he copy/pasted and did not think of it as nothing.

My thoughts

1. Why didn't stevey come out on the thread? Roles this game are given to any/all players, so if the mafia had killed him, the detective wasn't lost, just a townie and they already know who are the townies. If a mafia member pretended to be the detective we would have known when the person voted out was a townie.
2. I msged Mop it Up and she confirmed the msg sent to bustin, the difference between it and the one on the rules page is/was an oversight on her part. More on this later by host
3. Date stamp faked or copy/pasted. Don't know yet. bustin claimed it's "hard to resend a msg" or something along those lines.

My main concern is with stevey. Is he Mafia and is using Maxi? Are they both Mafia?

Can anyone come out and say "I had the detective role, not stevey"? Can we trust stevey never! : :

Funnier, even, is that Bustin's PMs say he had a red space, anyway, not a blue one, and Maxi incorrectly stated it in the thread.

I'm voting Maxi because I'm tired of this way of playing.  I thought he learned his lesson last time, and it's clear he didn't.  I'll be the first to put a vote against Bustin tomorrow if Maxi is a townie, which, he probably is, but I've had it with the rules mongering and "what did your PM from Mop it up say?" I'll be voting Maxi the rest of this game until he's out of it, though, because, again, I thought we were past this.

When people don't respond to a PM, it means they might not have anything to say or might not have the time.  I'm sure you didn't fake your screencaps that you sent me. They can still be faked. Taking screencaps is a terrible way to play the game, and defeats the purpose.  You can just say "Everyone show me their screencaps from Mop it up's PMs, and then we'll know who the townies are." Either mafia members have to go to photoshop or they lose.  That's no fun. I don't care to see them.
