Pokemon training questions
« on: October 26, 2015, 08:48:21 PM »
Ok, so I have a few questions about the EV's and IV's in pokemon generation 6 (XY/ORAS) that I hope you guys could answer, as I am planning on training a barboach.

1. Lets say I hatch a mudkip and I use up all of its EV's, then it evolves into marshtomp (or however you spell its name). What happens to its EV's? Do I get 510 more? I don't know.

2. I get how the IV's are the pokemon's genetics, but what significance do they have on the pokemon's stats?

1) Each Pokemon has one set of 510 no matter how many times it evolves.

2) The difference between 0 and max IVs is 31 points at level 100 or 15 at L50, as I recall.

You can reset the E.V. Points your Pokémon have with a reset bag from super training.

yes, sightly, more evolved Pokémon are stronger then the normal ones, unless you want special moves evolve them straight away!

The E.V's remain constant, ignore lucariofan, he powersavs everything anyway. ;)
