What was the issue with ToP? All I noticed was that it was hard to tell whether something was enabled or disabled.

Poor sound, poor music, poor graphics. It was like they ported it to NES first and put that version on the GBA.

It would have been nice if Square-Enix comepletely remade the game in 2D to take advantage of the DS. CT is a 13 year old game and as such does look dated. However, I'd take straight port over 3D remake any day. I wonder if the DS version will have the animated cutscenes from the PS1 port.

Um Vega Zelda isn't a Rpg. It is a action-adventure. Rpg comes in to play when you level up.

mario is a rpg too, you level up when you get a mushroom or fire flower! you also collect coins (or exp. points) from enemies which helps you level up too!

That right there tells me you should love this game. Anyone who hasn't already experienced it on SNES needs to check out the DS port.

Alright you are right. What about in Madden where you during the preseason you get points for your different stats.Or Tiger woods where you can buy different clubs to affect your drive or different shoes that affect different things?

Lol, that reminds me of a few years ago when Nintendo Power did an article about how sports games were similar to RPGs because of things like that and then they got a ton of angry letters from people who didn't want to hear that.
