Which FF games have you NOT played? (and why?)

A year ago, I played Final Fantasy 10.  Since then, I've played 9, 8, 7, 6, and so on... all except FF1... and only because I think the game's story/characters to be too sparse (almost non-existent) to be worth spending time.

So, which FF games have you NOT played (and why?)

all of them. why? because square are sadistic bastards thats why, they hate pal regions ive decided, the SNES saw NO major releases from square (ie no final fantasy, chronotrigger, mario RPG) and then later when they released stuff on PSX i didn't have one, and untill square release chronotrigger on the snes in pal regions OR unchanged from its SNES form on the gamecube (yeah ive played the rom, what choice to i have) i wont be buying any final fantasy games from them! *hides FFTA* well... besides that

Final Fantasy III (Japan)--why, because the motherfookers never ported it over to US or Euro.

The only way to play the game is to find A.) Import copy or B.) find a few translated roms off the internet.

Besides that one, I've played them all, even replayed them the PS1 though was kinda disappointed that you really didn't get much in terms of a remake--basically it's just a straight port with a begining FMV and ending FMV.

Still hoping Square/Enix decides to port over FFIII on the PS along with another game (just like all of the other collector's edition).  Not really picking but I love seeing a port of Secret of mana (SNES) since Legend of Mana is already on the PS.

Same as above.  Final Fantasy 3 is the only one I haven't played.

But instead of porting to PS, I'm hoping that Square-Enix ports the game to the GBA, as I think that would be a better choice.

That's okay with me.  I'd rather play the actual, original FF 4, 5, & 6.  They were flawless already... no need to improve them.

And, FF1/2 did get upgraded from 8-bit to 16-bit graphics.

Are you sure? I've seen an English port of it for sale on the PSX, it was PAL too...

Umm...  FF8 just because everyone said it was terrible (I'm not going to wade through terrible gameplay no matter how good the story is).  Other than that, FF II-IV and FFX, various reasons.

I only played FF5 half on an emulator and FF8 3/4th on PC.
The former was too buggy, the latter too bad.

Reasons for not playing FF:

1-6: I never knew they existed until the SNES was long dead. Considering I live in Europe, they probably didn't exist here anyway.
7: Just didn't pick it up. Probably lack of money, I could only afford DEM30 or less.
9: Lack of PS.
10: Lack of PS2.
11: Can't be bothered to buy an MMO-game.
TA: Not out here.

I haven't played:

FF2: not released in NA until recently and I don't really care for pre-SNES RPGs.  Too many random battles.
FF3: never released in NA
FF4: I actually found a used copy for the SNES but my brother either lost it or one of his friends STOLE it because I left it in his room and haven't seen it since.  I never got to play it.  I own FF Chronicles but I bought it for Chrono Trigger and haven't gotten round to playing it yet.
FF8: I didn't really care for FF7 and generally find the post-Playstation FMV-fest style of RPG to be dreadfully boring so I never bothered to play the other PSX FFs.
FF9: See above.
FF10:  Don't have a PS2.

Of course I don't really find the Final Fantasy games all that interesting anyway.  Very few RPGs PERIOD have ever grabbed my interest for very long.  Super Mario RPG is the only one I've ever beaten.

I've not played any cause i only own a NEEEEENTENDO GAEMMMMMACOOOOOB console.
I has a SOOOOPA NEEEEEEETENDO but no FF games.
My uncle had a FAAAAMICOM, but no ff games either.
I have a GAAAM BOI! But you know the rest of the answer.

The onlt FF game I have played for any lenth of time is FF 8 just becasue that's the way it goes.

I've played them all except for FFIII(SFC) because it has never been released in NA.  I love the new ones(PS/PS2) and appreciate the old ones(NES/SNES).

iv played them all nto to say i enjoyed them all...the only one i hav'nt played is 11...but thats because i forgot to download the beta

as far as favorite id say part IV(us II)
