Topic: Stronghold Kingdoms The NWR take over

For the last month I have been playing Stronghold Kingdoms. I had originally played it 4 years ago. I played it constantly for a month only to get bored with it.  It is an incredibly slow paced game. However, when I returned after my long hiatus I found I had a ton of research points left. I am back into it.

I have a dream though.

I want NWR to make a big impact on the game. I want us to take over a region in the game. With your help we can make NWR the leaders of the area.

Right now I am stationed in a county called Stirlingshire. I have a little triangle of villages in a parish called Bannockburn. I have five villages total. The way I have set up my current game is I have built a ton of buildings that would cause anyone to level up fast. I'll send anyone from nwr good to make them level up fast.

What I want NWR people to do is start some accounts in world 1 and pick your location to be in Stirlingshire, Scotland(the middle of Scotland. Contact me. My handle is Permethius.

When you log on research banqueting, and hall capacity. I can send you honor good types that can make you level up fast. Every time you level up you get 3 new research points. Some advice. The first couple of days I wouldn't focus on building your castle, you cannot be attacked, and most people farm rather than attack.

I'm on as Chronocast. Looks like I need to boost honor to research those things. I finished the tutorial and got basic production up with stone, wood, apples, and cheese.


I'll peek at it tomorrow and see where I am at.

I remember playing Stronghold and especially Stronghold Crusaders. I even played few matches with my friends on LAN.

Good games, funny voice acting, it's up there with Sierra city-building games (Caesar 3, Pharaoh, Emperor).

But i don't feel like playing this MMO or whatever it is, i'd rather boot up these old games instead.

Seems kind of easy to rank up at first.

Though I wasn't safe, got attacked twice. First I repelled, second got through it seems. Built some towers and extra walls which should work for the time being.

well theres a rank up wall, unless you have friends that are above you. You'll probably get near me where it took me 2 months of constant playing to get to. Every time you level up it takes more and more experience to level up. Luckily I built an empire on banqueting.

The game is set up to be so time intensive that most people quit, or pay real money into it.



for me to level up for instance I have to raise 3.5 million honor and go up 10 rungs

Well this is more of a casual thing for me, so I'll just got at my own pace and support your empire.

Can I do a MLG 420 noscope in this game?

Can you seize other people's cities at all?

Yeah, I've purchased two and seized two. I have five cities right now. I have to level up to the next level before I can have six.

I really want to get to where I can seize that big town right next to me. I know it is one of the biggest in the area, but I still want to try.

bummer, Windows and MAC only. IOS and Android are coming this summer though.

Glad it will go mobile. Kills me I can't check in during the day to set my queues.

How are the upgrades coming along?

[Stratos]

Someone stormed into my area. My castle got attacked several times and finally fell. Not sure what I lost other than 500 honor and my defense towers and troops. I think they seized up some of the nearby charters I was hoping to expand to.


I got a 2 day premium token for completing a quest and grinded research. I maxed out some food, mathematics (for faster research) and some wood and stone gathering. I'm beginning to get some trading going and am half-way to 10k for my first charter...only that one got gobbled up and I'll need to save more for another one.

So the lead guy in my area dropped out and all of his charters are ripe for the taking. I'm going to try and rush into getting a third and fourth city to get the land. If we can control each of our parishes then it will make our future work easier.


On the negative side I'm really getting hammered ever since I build my second city. I'm trying to invest a bit more on defenses.

I get annoyed by enemy AI. I just built a city with a stone resource boost. I'll share the wealth pretty soon when I get that part built up. The key is to make so much there is an excess.

So I guess you vote each county's steward to take control of the area. It has been going back an forth between two of the other players in my district. But I keep voting for myself and am gaining ground.


I wonder if we could each build a town in each other's area and help vote each other into stewardship.


I'm running into the issue of maxing out my storage capacity. I'll have to expand that a bit or spend excess stone and wood on extra town defenses.
