This game is getting creamed in the reviews.  And you know what?  It's probably still better than the movie.  HA!

Hey isn't this a Warner Bros property?  Will we be seeing that penalty thing they talked about a few months back?

I say if game companies get penalized for bad games, movie studios should get penalized for bad movies.

Apropos Anchorman, is PGC some kind of advertising platform for bad movies? I could swear half of the ads here are movies I never heard of before, that include no actor I ever heard about and that look like they have the production values of a porn flick. I mean, titles like "Harold & Kumar go to white castle"...

It was National Lampoon trying to relive its glory days of Animal House, complete with the same story of a slacker making his way through college while still trying to find time to party. It was a pretty funny movie, though- had some good laughs.

I hate the Catwoman Movies, mainly because I hate the Costume design. She looks like a friggin stripper slut, not Catwoman from the DC comics. It's a horrible attempt to get
pervs in the theaters.

I hope the movie and games burn in flames. I just hope the Batman Movie will be better than this, Warner needs to learn from it animation department ( Superman series, Batman and Justice League ) something that mimics the comic closely without screwing up. Hellboy was a great adaption without all the crap hollywood like to kill.

I think what's really sad is that Warner can now demand more money from EA for making a bad game to a bad movie for "brand damage"... With a movie like Catwoman, that reasoning somehow doesn't hold up.

Yeh but Movie licenses are seldom good. All i have seen are the Lucasarts ones, which are a total franchise and then Spiderman 2 which is not without faults.

lol.  Yeah if they bring up brand damage they should be laughed out of court.  I think the screenplay was writted for the sole purpose of getting Halle Berry into that cat suit.  What is really funny though is that Halle has said that she refuses to do Xmen 3 because she didn't want to be stuck in the role of Storm.
Marvel: "How about catwoman?"
Berry: "Will I get to look pretty?"
Actually now that I think about it, it is probably because Storm is not the main character.  She must rather be in a terrible movie as the lead then a good movie as a supporting actress/ co-star.

odifiend: It's a term in the license contract, not something they sue for. If the reviews are under 70% the royalities rise accordingly. Got the Atari head guy pretty worked up. "How can they say we hurt their brand name when Enter the Matrix sold MILLIONS" (Atari didn't pay more but would be obliged to under the new terms)? Though I'm not sure they put that paragraph into the Catwoman contract already.

Hmm...I see.  A question though, do royalties rise for the next project that developer does or does WB say well you'll be paying x amount of dollars in royalties, but if the game sucks, 1.5X amount?  Also in this new system is there an official reviewer that WB is going by?  I can see this being abused easily if WB can attack anyone who makes their games, regardless of sales... not that I'm defending Atari.

I don't know the exact terms, just what WB stated in a press release. I think it's the per-copy royalities of the bad game, not the next one. Also they're going by review average, Game Rankings-style.
