It's not coming out on DS that's for sure!  Well actually, we don't know that for sure, but we DO know that Camelot is NOT working on any DS games at the moment...They are preoccupied with finishing up Mario Tennis Advance and has just started working on a next-gen console RPG (which could likely be Golden Sun)

Is it camelot that made them?  Why haven't they made a console RPG?  They should make an RPG for the Rev and also another for the DS.  I don't even like RPG's that much and I love golden sun.

Edit:  Bill answered many of my questions...Thanks Bill!

A DS version of Golden Sun is something I had never thought about until seeing this thread.  Thanks for making me want another game, jerk.

I mean, there is no DS version of the seriesgoing right now.  Camelot has been kicking around a console RPG for a long time though, and I will bet one-million Internet-dollars that it's either Golden Sun, or a game based on the same system.  In either case, I will buy it.

why'd they waste time making mario tennis advance? Mario Tennis: Deuce Score! Multiplayer is a big focus of MT and would be a lot more accessible on the DS. OMGOSH! I hope it comes out online. It better. Every good multiplayer game should. That'd be cool if there were online tournaments. And you'd play one per day maybe.

Does anyone know anything about the console RPG? I mean is it a traditional RPG or what?

I felt Golden Sun 2 wasn't quite as good as Golden Sun, although i did only get only get half-way through GS2......

I'm not sure we even know they're working on an RPG but people are definitely hoping. Even if the RPG is confirmed nothing else is so noone knows anything.

No, it's DEFINITELY an RPG...Camelot had written on their "Wanted" ads that their next game is a "next generation RPG"...But yeah, not a single scrap of info out there...

I remember reading somewhere that they were indeed amking a RPG for the Rev and also that it wasn't in anyway related to GS.  Was that official or just some wanna be know it all?
was it Aries that said that?  I can't remember.....

Completely off topic, but does anyone know where I can get a copy of the original Golden Sun?  I'd prefer new, but I'll take used if it's from a reliable site.  No way would I even consider going through eBay for a GBA game.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

If you look around in local (not very popular) stores, you might be able to snag a new copy...You could always get the used version from EB if you are unable to...
