Flyer for “The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods”Wii

Back in the day there was a period during which I was pretty game crazy. That being said, I still pick up a controller from time to time.

In those days, in addition to reading game magazines I used to collect the sales flyers for games that were distributed at different toy stores (although I only ever picked them up for the titles I was interested in). This happens to be one of those flyers, and it is a bit unique as promo flyers go. Usually these are distributed in tandem with the release of a new game, however.....

America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get BloggingDS

After I booted up the software and looked a little closer, I noticed that the game was incredibly similar to Personal Trainer: Cooking, a game that had already been given the "Blog Review" treatment by fellow staffer Neal Ronaghan back in February of 2009.

With that in mind, and considering how identical the interfaces were for these two games, I decided that a video blog might be the best way to show off what this game was all about.

Sharp Presents 3D Touchscreen LCD: 3DS Technology In Action?3DS

Yoshisuke Hasegawa, the general manager of Sharp's Liquid Crystal Display Business, presented the new screens at a press event in Tokyo. Sharp boasts that their screens feature "the highest brightness" in the 3D LCD Touchscreen market.

The screens can display in 3D or 2D modes, and allow the user to view 3D images without the use of glasses. Of course, all of this sounds exactly like what we know about the Nintendo 3DS. Just like the leading speculation for the 3DS, Sharp's new screen's 3D image is the result of a parallax barrier.
